Reflective mankind
I went to the zoo A sign caught my eye Open this door. See the worlds most dangerous animal Behind lay a mirror. A joke How comical I thought But how true.
YUFO’S My Son & I
Strolling through the park My baby son and I His buggy bouncing in the dark Gurgling through the night
When we thought we saw a YUFO – yes a YUFO Flying across the sky A strange and glowing spectre A light filled kidney pie
Shining down towards us Stirring such a fright Until it dawn upon me I had something in my eye
Destiny
Choices made every day, leading down different paths Meeting different people, seeing different places Leading different lives.
The chocolate box
The last chocolate in the box And only I know of it I should share, I should give But I want it for myself
I should try to be a better person But my weak side knows in the end When they ask,, I shall swallow Smile and just pretend
Insomniac passing time
A few amber lights burning so strongly outside Absolutely dominating Their glow made brighter by such pure pitch A night hypnotically asleep
So fabulously dark, black in fact And wet Only these artificial eye catchers Help reflect out glistening patterns
Oil like paintings rise from their camouflage Deep colours shining on everything What a shy night, trying to hide itself So peaceful. As the clock ticks away
