John Astley offered to master my album

I have got to say though, I love it & I am enjoying being a recording artist & things do look quite promising for the music. John Astley (of BMG) has come on board to Master the album for me,which I am still on the ceiling about - at the thought of working with such a legendary producer ( having produced many of the albums ‘THE WHO’ have recorded, as well as working with so many other major artists).

To all the other session players also a big thank you
Tom Crisp for drums, Garth Coupland for Blues mouth harp, Zoe Gallant for Gospel vocals, Sotos for Greek Bazuki & all his other many numerous musical inputs.

Where to begin

Well hello & welcome to this blog. Up until early 2007 I was front-man (Rhythm guitar/vocals) with ‘The Primes’. We were a fusion really of different influences. Each member brought their own feel to the fold. We had been together overall for about 4 years & recorded an album & released two singles. It was a fun time & I loved every minute of it, but life was getting in the way as it does for musicians & between all 4 members, it was getting harder to commit time to the band & marry up schedules. I found myself writing much more solo & acoustically driven songs, & was being pulled down my own path. So in June 2007 we disbanded, but all still remain great friends & catch up when we can.

At the end of the summer 2007 I committed myself to my solo work & booked into Ashwood Recording Studios indefinitely.
